Chino’s Ideal Home:

• Requires a calm and quiet home
• Mature family (No young children) who are home majority of the day
• Not available for interstate adoption

The Good

• Loves going on walks
• Happy and friendly to both people and other animals including cats and chickens

The Challenges

• Doesn’t like loud noises such as thunder
• Prefers a quiet home with no young children
• Doesn’t like travelling long distances in the car

Chino is a very happy and friendly dachshund with a calm temperament.  Chino loves going on walks and she will bop up and down with excitement when she knows it’s that time of the day.  She can be nervous when left alone and likes to have her humans nearby.  Loud noises such as a thunderstorm scare her and she sometimes does a nervous wee if startled.  Chino would be best suited to a mature home where it’s relatively calm and quiet.  Although she is friendly towards children, they can be too boisterous for her and she is not so happy in their company.  Chino doesn’t tolerate long car journeys.
